Help pleaseeeeeeeeee!!!!

    I need help starting up my website,im useing Cpanel and Dreamweaver and i would like to no how to get my dreamweaver homepage i made to the domain name of my website.someone said i needed Ftp? or somthing but i dont no how that works.When i type my homepage Url it just goes to the Index of my site and i want to make it go to my homepage.

    Get a FTP client (like SmartFTP), log in to your account and put index.html (or index.*) in the public_html directory.

    Yeah I use smart FTP, make sure you upload to the right folder and your hompage is called index.htm or index.html, other pages can be named anything but you gotta include the foldername or filename when you access the page. For example

    www.yourdomain.com will point to index.htm

    www.yourdomain.com/pets.htm will point to your pets page

    Let us know if you get ftp working ok, get the ftp information from your host.
