Help Please

Why does my Joomla admin section keep logging me out, hosted through bravenet and installed the virtue shop component. The idle time is something stupid like 400000 seconds but I'm not even idling, I'm actively working and when it goes to reload it gives me the you need to log in page, so losing everything I'd just done and forcing me to login again.. I hope that this is not due to bravenet as they have been fantastic so far, I'm on a pro paid service with them and am nowhere near my bandwidth or size limitations..

 

Try to clear your Cache (both Browser and Joomla's)

 

its your cookies, i had the same problem once. just backup your csv file from virtuemart and backup your DB and reinstall, what i did

 

when you say backup my db, how do you mean? Sorry if I'm sounding dense..

 

Sorry i went on, are you even using Virtuemart.i Know that VM creates alot of issues.if so read this

Otherwise save your DB as txt(in php myadmin) then remove everything and reinstalled the joomla ecommerce edition,

If your not using VirtueMart
then i dont know
what you can also do is ask or search around on the joomla forum,
