    Hi there,

    I have been having a lot of trouble using twitter search, basically the results are non existent when i search for tweets in my city for example or people to follow i get a handful of recent tweets there must be a solution to this please help

    Can you give us an example?
    I just did a search on "Sleaford" and there were tons of suggestions although I don't get the stuff about "free lincoln" but you probably had to be there at the start.

    Thanks for the reply, I've tried a search for Lincoln, Lincoln tweets, Lincoln posts, posts by people in Sleaford, and get only a few recent results tbh I don't think there is much that can be done?

    I got quite a few from this:

    and you may just have to do the hard yards and find the people who post about Lincoln and check out who like and reply to the tweets. If the first tweet is about a local issue the people who reply are bound to be local too

    I'd be looking at who retweeted this one:

    This would have replies from people who aren't going to be locals (anymore)
