I am new to this and need help, I have a pool service and repair business. most of my customers are looking for recurring billing for monthly service or one time payment for repairs.
    I somehow ended up with:

    Durango Merchant Service Not Sure
    Authorize.net Gateway
    powerpay - Merchant Bank

I don't know code so this is becoming a real issue to set up. Can someone simplify this please, and send me in the right direction.

I work with Authorize.net for two of my ventures. In the infant stages of my oldest venture they paired me up with one of their sister companies for processing and have to say I haven't had any complaints. I would advise that you give Authorize.net a call and discuss your needs, I know you can do recurring billing with them (and their sister merchant account companies). If you've never processed credit cards before be sure to compare rates if they give you multiple options. If you have specific questions feel free to PM me and I'll do my best to answer your questions.

No, I would advise that you let Authorize.net pair you with a merchant account provider.

Durango is going to be cheaper than authnet.

Basically what you currently have is either 3 merchant accounts or 3 gateways, or some combination.

Do you need customers to enter the payment information in themselves, or is this something you can do over the phone? In the case of the former, you will need a website with some sort of software to handle the collecting of information from your customers. If you can take the card over the phone and key it in yourself, you can do it as is with Durango and Authnet. There is a recurring billing feature in both of these gateways. It's free with Durano, and costs an additional $10 - $15 per month with Authnet.

Thank you for all your help! It has been resolved. You get a better deal with Authorize.net going thru Durango. Calling authorize.net they walked me thru everything and it's up and running http://www.mcmanuspoolservice.com.
