I have programmed an application that searchs for spanish translations through 4 webs and presents the results in a excel sheet. I would like to be sure I will have no legal problems. I am presenting the results with the copyright of the web owners, and I am not making any copy just presenting the data in other format.

Can anyone help? You can see the program in www.excel-pro.com go to DEMO, download the dictionary and unzip it.
It should work fine if you have microsoft explorer and microsoft excel.

I am sorry everything is in Spanish I am working in order to translate it.

    Thanks and best regards

Some webmasters might not be happy about their data and resources being used to power another sites applications. I would contact the sites to get their responce before pushing ahead, but for legal responces try googling for a webmaster legal resource

I agree they might be upset, however if:

    1) I am indicating his copyright ownership,
    2) They provide for free his data to everybody
    3) I am not making any copies,

do you think they can sue me?

You can be sued for anything.

Contact each of the sources and ask for permission. It does not matter whether you acknowledge their copyrights, you have to get an explicit permission (i would not even trust what those respective sites say on their Terms of Use pages as they could be outdated, I'd still contact them to be sure).

Besides being sued, the sources you use can contact your hosting provider, Google and other parties asking to ban you. So get your explicit permission from them.
