Hey guys im a noob when it comes to adsense on websites so I just would like to know what type of website would be best for me to make in order to maximize my profit? A forum, blog, file hoster, youtube converter no idea really just through your suggestions out there please (and perhaps some good advice)
A forum or blog, both are good because they will be updated regularly. You may create site in any niche if you have good knowlegde in that. Only some Illegel sites are not allowed.
Find an interesting topic you like and build a community around it. You can start both a forum and blog where you write and add interesting content on topic.
FYI, I built my site first, started generating the traffic and then built the forum. The forum is a good addition that will keep people coming back to the site along with fresh content.
Try to concentrate on some niche you are interested in. It is better also if this is some kind of 'evergreen' niche (Weight loss, Health, Money making, Relationships) There is a lot of competition there but also a lot of demand. If you can find some kind of angle that is not developed, you can do find. For example dating site Gk2Gk found it's own angle by offering dating service to Geeks. The site has it's own loyal followers now. Forum can be a little bit challenging for a beginner. Look around, check different forum threads - you can find some good tips here. Good luck
when it comes to adsense, in my point of view, you have to write in a niche that you love to write about it so you will be creating your own community and ultimately you will be generating a very targeted traffic to your blog because your success with Google adsense is all built around targeted traffic. you can find your community in forums, social websites...etc. in the same time you will have to ensure that amount of fans who are interested in the same niche are acceptable and if not you can move to the next option by looking for a niche that you are not having clue about it but you can still provide some quality information which could make your visitors a regular visitors to your blog. you can also use other plugins if you are using WordPress blog to socialize your blog and spread the word about it. hope this simple info would help you...
Target a specific micro niche. Then you can get good traffic from search engines. That means usually you will get a higher CPC. Higher CPC means more money.
