    are you able to dns them?

    start -> run -> cmd.exe

    type in ping sitemapped.com

    if it resolves to an IP then it's not a DNS problem. if it doesn't, it's DNS.

    As I see it's fine now.
    If you want use a free monitor service from sourcio They can monitor with many ways your site (ping,http...) and you will informed by SMS in case of failure
    Sourcio (www.sourcio.com) and the site mon.itor.us (http://mon.itor.us)

    Does the ping command show no HOPS at all.. you may want to contact your hosting then - as the same thing happened with my friend in UK and he had his IP-range blocked on some hosting server in NY and but he cud see 2 HOPS.

    You may want to try clearing your internet temp files, history and restarting your computer.

    You can fix it manually :)
    open c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
    and edit the "hosts" file
    in notepad
    scroll to bottom add this line:
    72.232.212.74 www.test.com
    Exactly like that just copy paste but dont forget to change test.com with your domain and ip to your new server ip
    Saad :)
