Someone used this on there html <iframe src="http://www.uploadextra.com" width="1" height="1"></iframe> and sending me 4000 visitors a day, I hate this and i need to stop it, tried this on the htaccess: RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{HTTP_referer} ^http://jewelposter.com$ RewriteRule ^.*$ http://www.pornotube.com [L,R] PHP: and didnt work, can anyone help please?
he is "hotlinking html pages from your server into his pages while i have never done this, but use hotlink protection for pics, etc i thus would try once following hotlink protection - your index file is a php file as I see - if you have any other in future, then change/adapt the below php file extension accordingly: to be precise he actually never sent you ANY traffic at all the hotlinking simply looks as such to laymen NO single visitor of HIS site ever saw a single piece larger than 1 BIT of your site but each time that page of him is loaded - your full page also is loaded - hence all he creates is substantial server load kind of DDoS ( kind !!! ) your entire site is reduced to a single bit on his iframe window - invisible to all and no way to enlarge by his visitors. I understand your intention to forward his "hotlinking" to pornotube.com besides the simple legal fact that such intentions are nothing better than what he does to you - and you replace one illegal procedure of him by another one form you and YOU may risk to get your A.. kicked very substantially by such practices. the problem is between YOU 2 - hence keep 3rd parties OUT of your personal war unless you want to run for president of the United States of America and want to practice US presidential tactics to have others pay for your problems. if at all forwarding - then forward it to FBI/CIA but be sure what you do is legal and rock solid never substitute one cyber crime by another one!!! better just deny as in above sample code and write him an eMail or if legal forwarding - then relink BACK to the largest file on HIS server !! pls post the results here - i had never to use the .pho version of hotlink protection until now and have no experience if it really works as with other file extensions.
Thanks to the other members for everything but still havent solved my problem, I dont want this showing in my awstats or any of my statistic softwares, while i block it it just forbids them from viewing the page and still counts as a visit can anyone help please?
find out who the OTHER'S HOST is and make a detailed report showing access_log lines and the code the other uses ask him to STOP the other site hot linking the host may shut down that site !! tip: In shell of your fully configured Linux box do: whois jewelposter.com host jewelposter.com whois 208.53.170.146 you see then: site owner is in IN = bad because IN cares a sh.. aboiut law but host in in USA = they scared a sh.. because of legal danger of getting screwed for illegal actions ON their servers !! email polite, but tough with FACTS only "if unsolved after 24hrs, ready to report to IC3 (FBI/CIA)" it is in the widest sense a DDoS - if you have a few dozen or more such coming from high traffic sites - then your server falls in coma. provide URL where code is log lines of access_log etc and as a file upload site you BOTH should actually be ready to host cyber criminals because that is the prime purpose of file upload sites = to HOST criminals ( stolen files, trojans etc ) now you got what you called for ...
Im not worried about any legal issues, But for him there is legal issues to be involved but i cannot be bothered to take action for that, The story is this that I paid for this service http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=557147 and in the post the seller mentioned he will upload images to my image hosting service and promote them on many forums so when users on the forums click on the thumbnails i get visitors, However he lied and sent me fake traffic, I dont know why he is doing this and i paid 10$ for the service, i ordered it before from him and it didnt fully work so i paid in total 20$, Now he sent me fake traffic with frames and that wasnt in the deal and he is continuing to send even though i emailed him twice, Im waiting for a response and i understand why he is banned now, Either im going to take legal action or action through my own ways. The stuff he used on me i could do more damage to him and i live in the UK so does this mean i could get prosecuted for this?
is there any way you can redo some of your pages and images, replacing them with questionable content so this "bad" content shows up on the offenders site?
1. the iframe has 1 px in size there is NOTHING showing up anywhere 2. for 10 or 20 $ i would/will never waste any minutes he taught you a vital lesson - for peanuts - at a real school you may have to pay hundreds of $ the lesson NEVER be lazy, NEVER BUY traffic EARN your own traffic = SEO + unique content + useful services attractive to many my last and final suggestions in this matter: 1. drop the case - it's christmas time - time of cheap but efficient lessons of life! 2. LEARN from this attempt to get cheap fast easy traffic work and earn your traffic then you have something to look back onto and your children can be proiud of God bless
Upon checking jewelposter.com... It appears that amusedgamer.com got hit by the same problem too. Apparently the site is trying to fake visitors by hiding the iframe (but showing the site as a sponsor at the footer).
I dont think you understand, I work hard for my traffic and do not purchase traffic!, I ordered a service where the person promotes my service by using it and gathering visitors to use it by using it, like uploading an image. But what i say doesnt matter, i made a paypal dispute and the user replied saying he had been banned from digitalpoint and accidently mixed my site up with his traffic campain, he will be starting my promotion within 48 hours. and if he doesnt i get my money back. I Run many websites and havent used fake traffic or bots on any of them, they are all 100% organic traffic and i think you spoke to soon, he removed the code off his site now and my problem is fixed, Thanks to everyone who helped!
