Have been working on my blog for quite some time, almost 2 months, why does Page Rank still show a N/A status? I've established some backlinks though. Still not helping the Rank. Any ideas?
do you have adsense on the site already or are you monetizing it in any way already if you are , you might have been sand boxed by google .............. consider removing any monetization you have on it ... and write more article for the site .... wit rich anchor text .
1. The last pr update took place in January. Probably the next one will be in april. 2. Maybe google banned you site. Search cache:www(dot)yoursite(dot)com . 3. Maybe your IBLs have nofollow or they don't have any page rank. 4. Submit your site to directories (as many as you can) and... gather lots of backlinks.
You will need to wait for few months before you can see any PR for your site. Last update was on 12 jan 2008. So the next update will be after 3-4 months
Pagerank is changing real-time, you are referring to the current public visible Pagerank, that only changes every 3 to 4 months. Rest assure that your Pagerank behind the scenes is ever changing.
type in google search: site: www.yourdomain.com if your site appears, it means you're indexed by google even if your pagerank bar is gray. It usually takes a few months before Google updates the Pagerank (the one that appears on google toolbar). If your site is only a few months old and still has a gray toolbar, don't fret, it's just Google being slow in updating PR. If your site is already a year old and still has a grey PR in the toolbar, then that's the time to worry, you might have been benched by Google.
