Hey there...! I finially uncovered the blunders that I made using VB.Net and SQL 2008. However, this afternoon I have the same error I had before but I don't remember how I fixed it. Yet since I'm kinda new at this, it must be easy for those who use this web forum. Why did I get this error, "Must devlare the scalar variable '@StockIndex'." When StockIndex is no longer a field (column) in that table? Is there a way to re-compile a table when a filed (column) name chages? I was so frustrated that I put that field name back in the VB.Net code, even though it wasn't in the table, and it worked as thouth it was a valid field name! What happened? I'm a bit confused. ...or should I expect this type of behavior because I'm using SQL 2008? May each of you have a blessed day as the Lord wills. JEP_Dude
