Help please. I need to know if this is true about my sites ranking out of 13,500,000!

I have a site www.liveonlinechat.net and forgot about it for a while! Anyway, today I typed in the search term "Live online chat" into Google and very surprised to see my site at number 1 out of 13,500,000. Is anyone else getting the same result or is it something to do with my regional settings?

 

Using the search term Live online chat yes it came up #1 on google.ca

 

Thank you! Wow I haven't done any seo to the site, well much anyway. But I never thought I'd get to number one even with the domain name and its a .net not a .com!

 

hmmm, same to google.com #1..but anyway, did you research how many were searching to your chosen keyword? because it's useless to top in ranking if only few are searching..

Seems the same aswell today. I was a novice when I was buying domain names, I just thought there would be a lot of people typing in "live online chat". Must be worth something!

 

Come on... you are 25th for "online chat" . Are you sure you do not have any relative with last name Page or Brin ?

We are talking about 17 months old abandoned domain with about 470 links most of which come from Digitalpoint. Right?
And it ranks on 25th place among 42 000 000 results total - looks like you need a few months work to go on page 1 for that term too.
It seems your site is capable of achieving top rankings with a little effort by your side.
Google might liked it or you had hit the sacred algorithm

the question is, what traffic is it bringing to your site? if its good traffic say 1,000+ u/v per day, then great! otherwise, start SEO'ing!

I checked and you should be getting around 5,000+ searches from google a month. If I was you, I would definitely make use of that to make some money. I think you rank high for it because you own the words in the domain.

keywords in domain is the key and now you should improve and upgrade your site to make the most out of the traffic you could get.

 

I have added Boonex community script to a sub folder. I have finished installing it. Users now have a choice to chat in the flash rooms, without registration or they can join the chat community, registration required. I have added all the Ray modules, video uploads, music uploads, profiles plus video and audio chat. So hopefully, if the community part gets busy I can use the "add flash chat to your website", as an extra and concentrate on the community side of things.

Apart from this, how much would you think the domain is worth?
