Hi all, Thanks for checking out this post. I have a small free blog network that i started this earlier this year. It currently has around 4000 blogs on it so its not huge but ranks top 5 in Google for some key blog terms. It receives 5000-10000 page views a day currently. I had Adsense on it but just removed as some blogs are soft-pornish and its against google TOS. I dont what anything too obtrusive, such as pop ups or anything. Just want something that I can place in the footer for each blog template. Maybe some text based ad network similar to adsense could be the go? If anyone knows ones that are good and pay on time and decent rates. Any ideas on what you think would work best would be greatly appreciated. Please post here your ideas or PM me. Try Black Label Ads for the soft-porn blogs. It's the new name for AVNads(adult version of Adbrite). I use that for 1 Naughty Blog because Adsense was not allowed on it(funny adult toons).
Thanks for your posts, as its a general blog site and pretty much all blogs are not porn therefore Black Label Ads are not going to be the ticket. For http://www.tnx.net/ - is it still ok to use these guys - google seems to want to hunt them down?
and what makes you say this? Though it could be possible bcos of the heavy "paid" promotion they did but I am not so sure about this.
yeah - its true - no one knows G is up to - We know that the www.tnx.net site has dropped to PR0 for the homepage - I am sure that the site had heaps of inbound links coming to it from the network - really I guess it would be ok to put the ads on my site - just think maybe for people buying them it might not be that great. Maybe I am giving G more credit than it deserves on how its tracking link sales..
