HELP! PayPal Blocked My Account

    Hi, I really messed up.

PayPal allows 2 accounts, 1 person and 1 business. What happened was I was doing something for charity and created a 3rd account. This was about 1.5yrs ago. I created the 3rd account because I didn't want to confuse my 2 business accounts and one with charity which I had given a couple of access too, because it was for charity, compliance, security and all that.

Shortly after I opened the 3rd account, about 1.5 months later they blocked all three accounts. and I wasn't very interested then, I said whatever this is what PayPal does, I'll unblock it when I need to, I'm not going through their bs hell at this time.

Well, now I need to start using PayPal for personal and business reasons, and they said all three accounts will be blocked for life, and I can't close them and I can't open another account. The reason why they said I can't close them is because they want the information like emails, & addresses to stay in their system so they when I open a new account.

I explained to them I didn't really intend to open a 3rd account, and I didn't even know of their crazy blocked for life rule. I know once, I opened 3rd account by accident and they let me close it.

Is there any department, person, email I can contact to resolve this.

What happens if I get my brother or sister to open an account under their name, what I am worried about is we all live in the same address? and the emails in the blocked accounts are business emails that I would use when creating a new account. For example , if I change it to do you think their system would catch that.

Blocked for life is serious? and a HUGE inconvenience!

    Please help.

I Think, You Can Still Create A PayPal account, If You Have different financial Details Than Previous one which you had used in PayPal Before. If You Have that You Can Create New One Without Problem.

I tried creating a new account yesterday and it worked. But i was terrified they would close it after i started using it more and as always PayPal eventually asks you to verify your account like your running for president or something. they ask for more details than a bank asks when opening an account.

    so i closed the account.

My only problem is I need a PayPal Pro Merchant account and for that they'll need more details than usually, will this trip up my attempt to create a new account with new financial/address details?

i actually never thought about the IP thing. but it makes sense, its probably a consideration they use to freeze accounts.

You Can Use Anonymous Ip Addresses for Creating a New Account. Just Change your Network Ipv6 or ipv4 ip addresses.

You answered the question within the first couple sentences. You knew they only allow 2 accounts yet break the rules, set up another and get punished. Of course they are going to ban you permanently; what, you think it's only going to be valid for 3 months, 2 days and 4 hours? That being said, you should be fine to use a family member's account, provided they can trust you, but everything has to go through their bank account/card/details. If you do get another chance via this route, you better make sure everything you do is squeaky clean and never disclose to paypal you're using this setup.
