Help - Page Size

    Hi All,

    Today I checked the website - http://www.cuepower.co.uk and current page size is :186.43 KB so this is good or bad ?

    Also let me know how to reduced the page size for the website ?

    Page sie can be reduced by removing content other than that there is no way to do it

    The page size is a little bit .... huge. How did you verified?

    Actual your page contains more images..so obviously it will goes more size..while you design your images try to save them as a less size. this option is available in photoshop software or go to dynamicdrive site to reduced the image sizes..it automatically reduces your page size..

    Nowadays google can crawl page size of more than 101kb. If you want to reduce the size, try to check image files in your theme. Also, try to reduce image uses in your site. If you use, try to keep it at min size in any possible readable format.

    Use a pix rezizer to do your images I use it for my product site and does do anything to the image just cuts down on the kbs. if you have say 10 images say at 50 kbs and cut it down to 50% the loading time of the website will load a lot quicker and the weight of the page will be a lot less.
