You'll need to contact one of the administrators for this, plus you must have a very very good reason because there are LOTS of member names on file here. No, do not create another account. It's against the rules to create duplicates.
ok, i thought i was going crazy, i was pretty sure I had to use email addy as username until I made a certain number of posts.... Maybe I need more posts? How do I PM a mod? Thanks again, Dan

Yeah, funny thing is, I run a forum of my own, so you'd think I'd know better on how to create a username and password for a member profile. I just read the "you better have a good reason to change your username" post that joyGoRound posted the link thread to, and it doesn't look hopeful. My reason for wanting to change username from email addy to a real username is so I don't give away an email address on a high traffic forum... Not sure if that's a good enough reason, but I do hope so
Its a great reason, I was able to change mine for something stupid...haha. Just dont create another account. Otherwise they will ban you. Just let them know it was an accident(have no clue how you could screw up like that tho...haha) and you are getting unwanted spam that way. They should change it when they have time....Mine only took a day. Good Luck
You just give them time. Its even better you came up with the thread otherwise ,many would have though you were creating a fast link through your email.its possible they change it.don`t creat a new account.

Lol Daniel. I did not know what this thread was about when I went in it. I saw your email addy as your username and I was like what is this. then I saw your question. but yes you must have used your email addy for username. I did not even think you could do that with the character @ in it. well hope you get this fixed otherwise you will probably get many spam in that email lol
lol, yup I feel like a kid stuck in a well or something like that People must be wondering, "How the heck did he manage to do that" Still waiting for a PM back from a mod... We'll see if anytihng can be done to shed me of the idiot reminder (ie. my "username")
