I recently started a campaign (yesterday) with a budget of $15/month. I know this is low, but the site is new and needs work.. By the way, this is the first site I try to monetize. I'm in the domain business and trying to see alternative ways of of revenue instead of just parking. Now for the stats: The site is IMGLab.com, which is a free online image hosting service. Wanting to see faster results of what I would probably see in 30 days, I decided to raise the budget for $1,000/month for a couple of minutes. Surprisingly only 51 clicks and under my initial budget of $15.... Keywords: 5 Total Impressions: 14,596 Total Clicks: 51 Total Cost: $13.84 ------------------------ A few questions.... 1)How does one check AdSense earnings and banner clicks? 2)Do you think my experiment represents what $15/month would get me in 1 month? 3)I know what the CPC is on my AdWords ads, but how does one know what one will earn when the sites AdSense ads are clicked? 4)What would you do to the site to make it better/earn more?
What is your ROI (return on invetment) matrix. If you are selling some thing, than it is straight forward. You must make more than you are spending. If your matrix is sign up, you should have some target, e.g. .25 per sign up. Than you can check if you ar emeeting your target or not. If you are trying to make money from AdSense by advertising in AdWords, it is very difficult.
for 51 clicks ur paying 13 $ which is quite high i think, in 13 $ i can make a page impressions of about 500-1000 in google. Try to lower the budget and optimize according to the ROI of ur site. adwords expense should always be less than ROI of site, unless u r lossing time and money.
Your are opt paying high for 51 visitors. I think first you should get registered users to your website then you will automatically generate traffic from adsense.Be focused on generating registered user then user will all do it for u... Your site seems to be good n simple for image hosting, the only things matters is visitors Good luck!
