I'm not familiar with GoDaddy's hosting, but I'm pretty sure they have some information to help you get started in the support section. other than that, you can always call them and see if you can get some help that way.

Thanks, I'll try that. They weren't able to help me with the blogger issue though.

    hi rntalks,

i will try to help you as much as i can~
    first things first,

Don't use the FTP agent on Godaddy.com,
GO and Download FILEZILLA (look it up at google.com),

    On Filezilla:
enter your "Address:" (your web godaddy hosted url)
enter your "User:" (Your Username on your godaddy hosting plan, it's case sensitive)
    enter "password:"
enter "Port:" (Just press enter it should give you 21 by default

    after those steps,
start uploading your files to the server,

    from then on,
try to get as much knowledge as possible,

i would suggest you start with wordpress,
as it is the easiest and you'll learn alot through them~

feel free to come back and ask for more

Have you tried calling them for assistance? They're usually great about walking you through things. :)
