Help on outbound link

    Hi there, can anyone help me to to understand what is outbound links? Is it good or bad? I'm really confuse with the terms. Thanks in advance :)

    Outbound links are just the sites that you are linking to from yours. It's not good or bad, but it can be bad if you are linking to "bad neighborhoods."

    It's referred to as outbound links because the links take your outbound (off your own site).

    Thanks moneymaker1008 and dcristo. I just re-checked my site's backlink with backlinkwatch.com and now I got better understanding on outbound link. :)

    fyi. backlinkwatch.com generally tells you your 'inbound' links.

    Out bound links are not bad but it will be considered bad if there are too many out bound links in the same page.

    Link that is place on your site, of some other site, if that link is do-follow it means link is passing juice from your site to other one.

    Just make sure you use good alt text and also be smart about who you are linking to.

    I think related outbound link will not affect your site,.....that's why you have ti choose a related site.

    Many people are afraid to link out to related resources throughout their copy. Many search engines grade pages not only based upon their copy and inbound links, but also upon the pages that they link to. Relevant outbound links to quality sites can actually help your own performance in the search engines.
