I got a 10 articles order from this guy williamkarter. He has an itrader of more than 30 which is more than enough for a decent player in DP. I had written 10 article for him and he promised to pay me 35$. But after getting the articles he had not replied back but i see him active in this forums. Mods please help me solve this issue. Any others who know this guy please let me know. Karthik
That really sucks. Did you try emailing him? Or post on his original thread? Content work is hard and very time consuming. I hope you get paid. If he doesn't pay you then resell the articles to someone else.
yea mate, u r right, re-selling can help him...coz content creation is the work which requires a lot of hard work and we can't waste this effort.. @karthik87.mit u just create a new thread and sell those articles and post negative itrader to that guy...
Yes. That too when people with more than 30 itraders cheat, its tough to trust anyone. This guy is a spammer i guess. Anyways thanks for all the replies. I will try to sell them else where. But beware of this guy. Mods please ban him from the forum.
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2150410 this is the thread he started. Looks like he is a cheater. Mods do ban him. Otherwise he will cheat more people for sure.
Unfortunately, they won't pass Copyscape if he's already published them. You could run them through Copyscape, and find out where they are. I read (and posted in) the thread where this happened, it looks like several writers came forward with similar stories about this particular member.
I have been also cheated by the same guy..he ordered 10 articles for $35..after getting the articles he never replied back..I had sent him tonnes of emails and pm..He is active daily on dp..
Here's what you could try. Ritesh has a contact form on his website: magofun(dot)com/contact.php I'm sure it's his site, for example, on his Facebook page to promote Magofun.com, he has the exact same contact email he's been using on the DP forums. Plus, you can easily find additional evidence of this on the web. On a side note: You can find him on Stumble as well, It's possible if you start contacting him at other places, he may feel like it's just easier to pay you what he owes. It's a shame though, you (and the other writers) should have just been paid.
