I have an domain at network solutions and and and in network solutions if we want to transfer domain from one account to another accoutn the other guy needs to pull domain. But when my buyer pulls domains then he gets a message

The domain names listed below are ineligible for transfer. Click on the link to the right of the name for more information.

The domain name you have chosen is in a Special status, which means that it is not available to transfer into your account at this time. Please contact the current Registrant of the domain name to have them determine the reason the domain name is on special and resolve any outstanding issues. Once the issue has been resolved, please return and submit your transfer request again.

Can anyone tell what is this problem.

Anybodys help will be greatly appreciated.

ok if you are transferring from registrant to registrant within the same company aka network solutions they more than likely have a rule through them that if the domain has been created or recently moved into that account normally within the past 60 days it can not be transfered and that is network solutions rule now if it is moving from registrar to registrar same time period within the past 60days you can not move it and that is icanns rule. also if the registrant information aka address of owner on domain had changed in the last 30-60 days it can not be moved ither.

Now if none of this applies make sure all privacy is removed. and if you are going to a different registrar then make sure it is also unlocked.

    Possible Solutions:

    1. Domain cannot be transferred to another registrar if less than
2 months registered or transferred from other registrar.

    2. Unlock your domain at your registrar Network Sol.

    3. Release the privacy at your registrar if necessary.

    4. Give the secret key to your buyer so he can transfer the domain.
