Hi every one i am new here(my 1st post) and very new to using word press. First i need some suggestions on free wp themes if any one could suggest a theme that should be a 4 column theme with horizontal menu and also show categories in the left side menu with 2 columns in center and last 4th column at right side for any widgets or ads. an example could be: http://www.wpdaddy.com/demo/spring-love.html plz have a look at it but the problem is that it looks so childish n 3rd degree that using it will ruin the whole idea of my site. i gave its link just for understanding what i am looking for. i mean only the columns should be in this pattern but i need some high quality free theme. that should have a design quality like http://fthemes.com/demo/NewsScope/ Tell me if any of the below themes could be transformed into a pattern that i described. http://demo.woothemes.com/?name=premiumnews http://demos.bavotasan.com/magazine-basic/ these 2 themes have quite much possibilities as i have read about them but i am not into codes or programming and need to change their layout and header colors. the big problem is that i cant afford to purchase these theme to get support from their support forums as i have already been ripped of my money in freelance job boards by fake workers. i am new to all this and any help would be greatly appreciated...
If you search Google for "free 4 column wordpress themes" you'll definitely find some quality results. There are a bunch of great free wordpress themes out there that you can use. As for editing the headers and colors of certain themes, that isn't too difficult. I'm sure you can find someone in web design who'd be willing to do it for cheap or even for free if you allow some links to be placed on your blog or something like that. sebasago thank you very much for your reply. i have already googled alot for many days but could not find any theme like i want not even in paid ones bcoz i want it to look like a portal. the premium news by woothemes is a best theme i think but it need to be a little altered for my purpose, like it must show categories on left side of home page and some colour changing as well. as for links i appreciate your offer. i can allow your links heartily on permanent basis as long as they dont link to adult oriented or gambling or poker sites or any kind of scam software sales. if the links are for your clean blog or website or any affiliate i will be more than happy to allow them. tell me how to initiate further.

Color changing shouldn't be too difficult. Adding the categories to the left side will be though. That's not something I'd want to do because that involves re-designing the way the theme looks. I'd have to do some creative coding to get it to move over. Color changes or certain other small things I'd be willing to do but I'm not going to redesign the theme, sorry.
