    Help needed with wordpress images!!

    Can someone plllleeeeeeeeease help me!!

My site myferret.co.uk - very much a work in progress so please be gentle with me!! 2 questions here.

    1. The big image/logo of the ferret with the words over it. Ive made it in photoshop and when i insert it it puts a big daft white border around it. Ive tried changing things in photoshop, getting rid of background, saving as gif, saving 'for web' but it comes back with the background still on it. Ive been to the advanced settings in wordpress and changed the border to '0'.
    Any suggestions?

    2. meta tags. Ive added them in the <head> section in the editor in wordpress. Does this now mean that they are the meta tags for the whole site now if i do it in this manner? how do i put meta tags for individual pages?

The image issue is frustrating me somewhat. Ive done another site widnestown.co.uk (again, be gentle as working through it) and ive made a similar image, in fact they are now on the same theme, but i seem to have managed to do that, but in that instance i simply got rid of the borders in the wordpress settings. im assuming i must have done something else at the photoshop stage, but cant fathom out what.

Many thanks for any help here

    Kind regards

    Alan

    1. Did you fix this now. I can only see a 1px grey border.
    2. If you added tags to the head, then they will be for the whole site. You could try the Wordpress SEO plugin to get what you want - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/
