Optimization for WAP Phones that would be called as Mobile seo. mobile seo is not but optimization for mobile version of website. it will helpful for getting visibility among mobile subscribers. For optimization of mobile websites you need to do all same activities but here for Mobile website(Keep in mind) which u have done for normal websites. i.e. creating sitemap.xml, robots.txt, keyword research etc.. thanks i was wondering if there is a difference between optimizing for iphones than for phones with WAP which is kind of limited in today's terms of mobile web...
WAP is deprecated as a protocol, especially given that most pre-paid phones these days (not to mention the smartphones such as the iPhone and BlackBerry) have full Web browsers capable of rendering pages in mobile and standard page views.
yeah i agree...i have a client that wants to upload a WAP web site...i recommended against it but he is a dumbass he he he
