I have found several keywords for my campaign and when first entered everything was OK. Regular rates, etc. However, every day there seems to be different ones that come back with the inactive statement "increase quality or bid to $$ to activate". My reason for being upset is because its constant and from what I can see no real reason. For example, one keyword phrase has no competition. I am working it at 0.15 cents one day, next day it wants 0.35 cents, next day it wants, 0.50 cents, today it wants $1.24 I am currently inactive on that keyword phrase, I do the search on google, and still no one else shows up? If I activate with the $1.24 it will show up like the others did, by itself. Some other phrases I am number 2-3 position, same thing, it ask for more money to activate. It does this on items with both high and low impressions. It's like I competing with google, not the competition. Does anyone know why this may be a common problem and what I can do to find a solution?

Are you using "broad match" with your keywords that keep getting set to inactive? I've found that by using exact match... like this [keyword], these keywords don't get impacted as much by being set to inactive. Something to try anyways, if you haven't done so already. Allen
Great blog entry - it cleared up most of the questions I had about AdWords changing its mind every 5 minutes about the min bid. Thanks!
