[video]http://www.screencast.com/t/wkwCJiaR[/video] I got this site, one of many and for the majority there's a problem with the theme, whereas other people using the same theme don't or haven't had a problem loading the articles. One problem is simply loading the main page. With the one in the video, it should be http://www.brian-morgan.info/Termites/ but it goes immediately to a 404 and therefore, I have to place "index.php" to get to the main page. Afterward, it's a case that the articles don't load. I hope I've explained everything in the video and someone can help me? kind regards and thanks in advance for the help. Brian
It might be a problem with your .htaccess its hard to tell at the moment because it appears your working on the site and all thats loading is the header.php file If your trying again try the following and replace xxx with the actual article number http://www.brian-morgan.info/?p=xxx
Well that's what's in the .htaccess file. When I go to the root of the "Termites" directory (http://www.brian-morgan.info/termites/) I get the 404 error page. When I go to the "Home" url on the "index.php" I get a "404 Error" message. I should have included another website which is exactly the same as this example for "Termites". This is a page on an identical website albeit this is a dedicated website, mine is on my main url :- http://www.submitarchive.com/termites/ I hope this information is helpful in determining the problem, as this is related to most if not all of the websites I want to host. If you look at the website http://www.submitarchive.com/ it shows all of the websites that I also have and would like to host. Thank you Brian
Could be a problem with an Apache module. Like mod_rewrite. Do you have error_reporting active? What host is that? Is it "home made"?
