Help needed with PayPal and Bank account!!!

Hi,

I have more than 500$ in my paypal account and I wanted to withdraw them. So, for this, I created a bank account in State Bank of India. Now, Today, I have got the passbook in which my name was written 'MOHD. ASADULLA SHAREEF' . But, I didn't apply with that name , My actual name is 'MOHAMMAD ASADULLA SHAREEF' I used my actual name.

Now, PayPal wants the exact name in the bank account. So, which one should I use? the actual one or the Pass book one?

Only my debit card, its my actual name!

 

Use the passbook name. I believe Paypal would know that 'Mohd' is short for 'Mohammad'.

 

Make sure,the First and last name are same. Dont take risk for 500$. And for such situation,use any of your nearby friend or brother's paypal account and get the money withdrawn.

 

Try to ask a paypal debit card, so that you can withdraw your money instantly. Well that's only if they are issuing a paypal debit card in your country.

 

PayPal debit card is only available in north america.

@ OP: just make sure LAST NAME matches, then there won´t be a problem because there isn´t a problem in using a family members bank account to withdraw money to.

 

As Paypal does not own your bank, they will not have any rights to your banking details. They will merely submit the payment request to your bank and if your bank approves the transaction, it is cleared. If it is not approved by your bank, it would be reversed.

A lot have to do with your bank. I am very sure that an Indian bank would know that Mohd is short for Mohammad. If your bank does not know that, they should be shot.

 

You need to do:

(1) - check your's PayPal resolution center. What kind of personal notification they exactly need ?
(2) - ASAP send them scan copies by fax ONLY.
(3) - wait 1-2 hours and you'll receive e-mail notification about your documents approve.
(4) - after that call them and discuss situation.
(5) - wait 2-3 business days and rapidly run to your bank, grab money with both hands.
(6) - drink a little beer )))))))))

 

PS
You must print fax cover from Paypal's resolution center only.

 

Your name on bank should match with your name on paypal else your transaction will be reversed and u will also be charged some fees,around 250 INR.

At the time of verifying your paypal account, You will have to use your credit card and not your debit card. Then, you can use the add on bank facility option, by which your paypal account gets connected to the same bank account which issued the credit card.

Your bank account name should be the same as your paypal name. I hope you got my point.

 

If,the debit card is associated with the same bank account you are telling about,then I think to use the correct name as per on the debit card.

Because in some cases,debit card are for faster international use and has some more importance than general check for international cash withdrawal.(I am just assuming about at least the cash withdrawal at ATM/logo abased counters and purchases og goods or so with international usable debit cards.)

As long as there is nothing wrong(in paypal activity/bank usages),nothing to worry about.

 

I am sorry to say! But, you are wrong. You can also add a bank account even if your PayPal is not verified. I have opened a bank account and did all these stuff coz I have no CC. If I had that, then, It was very easy.

So, I also know that you cannot add a Debit Card, but, you can Add a bank account and you can withdraw your funds or add your funds from bank account to PayPal or vice versa.

Asad, You be rest assured, Mohd and Mohammed means one and the same thing, Your withdrawal will be successful without any issues and you will have the funds in your bank account.

my mum has a account in ICICI and she tried to add her account to her PP but no transactions which are done to verify the account were done??
