Hi everyone. First post and already asking for help.:p

I’m FerFAL and am currently located in Buenos Aires.

I have a blog which I update regularly.
It’s about how things changed after the economical collapse in my country after 2001 and basically what I’ve been doing to stay safe and get by. Give a few tips, advice and some thoughts in general.

If things get worse because of the economic crisis you might find my blog rather useful.
    http://www.ferfal.blogspot.com/

I found the forum while looking to optimize my adsesne adds.
2000 unique visitors a day and only 80 bucks a month doesn’t sound right.

My blogging skills match those of Zoolander, so if you drop by I could also use some tips on what I’m doing wrong with adsense as well.:)

    Thanks a lot in advance.

I've had much better luck with link units than any other ad type. In fact, when I first added them to my sites, I got greatly increased earnings without reducing the CTR of the other ad units. I'd try adding a couple of link units, maybe at the top and bottom of each article, and see how things go for a week or two.

Thanks ClassHelper.org, I appreciate your help.:)

I started this blog becuase I like doing it, but making a bit of many with adsense would allow me to spend more time doing what I like doing: Writing about urban survival.

What do you think about the colors, are the ads ok?
I read somewhere that it's a good idea to blend them in.

Any other advice? How about getting teh ads into the posts?

Have you considered putting together an ebook?

It could include affiliate links (which convert a lot better in an ebook than a website usually), help you build up an email list of people interested in the topic and be a viral form of marketing. :)

btw.. even if you dont like her politics, your president is a milf :D

Kind of like adsense, but that isn't usually considered an affiliate progam. The Amazon links you have are affiliate links.

When I said it I was thinking; say you had a chapter on a personal survival toolkit, then you might search for a good flashlight that offers a percentage of sales for affiliates/partners, for example.

you will find 5 or 6 on the first page of this search: http://www.google.com/search?q=flashlight++affiliate

Ferfal, I would consider commission junction as well for some of your ads in lieu of the amazon stuff. I am sure that the commission is much better.

I think that the site looks nice though and Optional is correct about your president... she is plenty spankable.
