    Hi,

I'm running a free webhositng site. My clients are requesting me to enable this function allow_url_fopen() . Is it safe to enable it?

Also, they want me to turn off safe mode. Is is safe to do that? Is there any option to change these settings without editing php-users.ini file?

My free hosting site runs on LayeredPanel v2.1 . Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Arun
