    Hello,
ive just built a new wiki for clubs, bars in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (the site language ist german). My problem is, nobody will exchange links, if I can only put a "nofollow" Link on my wiki! Its frustrating ... Do you have any suggestions to help me getting some Backlinks? PS: I DONT want to spam your forum, so I diddnt put my link in this threat!

My Idea was to make an new .php site for the Links and put it on the Server.

Hi abcde. As you've mentioned, the Wiki is very new and might not have any PR assigned yet. What you can do is to submit the Wiki to free directories and also post it in related forums, to promote and market it and bring traffic to it.

With new sites, its always difficult to get links, and as you have a Wiki, people might not be willing to link to it. Maybe you can get it listed in a 'list of Wikis' like the one at Wikipedia , or similar other sites. This way you'll start getting links and people coming to your Wiki and will gradually lead to people bookmarking your site and linking to it.

Thats great if you've submitted the link. Just a quick note, that you should keep it up-to-date and regularly update it and expand and add more content to it. The more you work on it, the more it will get traffic and users. Also, if it looks like its still 'under construction', sites might not approve it if you submit. So for an increased success rate, you should make sure your Wiki is up and working with lots of content in it :)

what wiki software are you using - you should be able to turn off rel="nofollow".
