    Hello,
I am from India and i have an unverified paypal personal account. I want to verify paypal with my dads SBI card which has a VISA holographic image on it. The paypal account is on my name. My question is can i verify this card which is on my dads name?(Does it matter if the names on paypal and card differ). I also want to know if there are any hidden fees for verifying the account or adding card to it, and whats the fee to transfer my money in paypal to the card or bank which i will verify(SBI). And is this SBI card which am talking about can i verify my account using it?. The unverified personal paypal account which i have, it says when i click send money sending limit 100$`s. My question is this 100$s limit is it like i can send 100$`s again afterwards or unverified account holders can send only 100$`s what exactly is it?

Please help me out of this any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks
    :)

as an unverified member you can send at maximum $100! this is a permanant limit till you get verified! you also have a monthly $500 and a permanant $2500 withdrawal limits,

get an additional card on your name, on your dad's credit card, that will work.

paypal will take a few $ out of your credit card, and then put it back to your paypal account, there is not extra fees!

in case of a charge back, your credit card will have debits, and if someone will get into your paypal account, you will get a lot of debit on your credit card, that's the only risk!!

anyways, get verified and lift all limits, no sending limits, $2500 monthly withdrawal limits!
    cheers!:D

As your requirement you want to verify your paypal by a SBI card which have visa logo , the visa logo appears on both credit and debit card so may be your father card is debit card and in India you can't verify your paypal with debit card . secondly you can't verify your paypal with your father card either it is a credit card. So you have to verify your card with a credit card on your name .

So don't think that you will get verified with your father card , the best option for you is that buy a VCC and verify your paypal . The SBI card will not help you.

Here on DP many peoples are selling vcc to verify Indian paypal account , you can find them in buy or sell forum easily. buy a VCC and get your paypal verified in few minutes .

After verification your paypal limit will increase to us$ 3000 per month and you can do the transaction of Us $ 3000 per month , quite a big limit for new users .

    Enjoy ~

No, you CAN verify your Paypal account using your Dads CC. Paypal allows using a different first name when adding CC's. Only the last name has to be the same.

I know because I had verified my acct using another family member's CC.

I would support Uttoransen on this. The best option would be to get an Addon Credit Card on your Dad's SBI Credit card. The Addon card will be completely in your name and also you will get a seperate Credit Card Statement monthly. So when you add that card to your paypal account, paypal will deduct 1.xx$ from your credit card and add it in your paypal account. Also paypal will send you a 4 digit code which will appear in your Monthly Credit Card Statement.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
    Kulwinder.

Even I am an Indian and I have a VCC verified account. But I would recommend an Addon Credit Card as VCC wont help you incase your account is limited. As you cannot show VCC transaction details associated with paypal, etc to provide enough proof.

    Best Regards,
    Kulwinder.

    exactly,
if your account goes limited, that's the end of paypal for you!!
get an addon card, or get a credit card on your name, make the credit and cash limits a bit less, to make yourself safe from the worst case!!

vcc will probably work, hardly a few people get banned from paypal using vcc, but then if for some reasons your paypal account get's limited, which is pretty common these days, you will need to fax the credit card statements, which you won't have if you use vcc!!:)

You can use but if they asked for ownership proof, then your account will be revoked and money gone forever!
