    I want to make a simple website which contains database like fantasticfiction. Should I make it on my own or should I outsource this project? If I need to outsource this work then where should I get appropriate person?

    for simple websites its great using those free or payed tools but doing it yourself you must do if you are going for something more complicated.

    If you want to make simple with database. then you should use wordpress , Its easy and SEO friendly as well . Just install it on your server and enjoy.

    I think you should do it by yourself and in my opinion wordpress or joomla will be the right choice, but if you don't have any time to maintain all your task then you can go for outsource.

    .net is better way to build up for that type of website coz you want to add lot's of data on site. I will suggest you for outsourcing your work. Mtoag is the better place
