help needed regarding adsense revenue

i am in a process of buying a website with revenue.........the seller has showed me screenshots and a check from google on his name..........how do i verify that the check he has been sent is for adsense OF THE WEBSITE HE IS SELLING.......thank you all

 

I don't think there is a way of you to be sure of that.

 

Yeah! he can only allow you to see the screenshot of earnings

 

I don't think this can be verified. However, you can ask him to setup a channel for that website and show you the earnings made off that particular website.

 

I don't think his making money with adsense! actually his making money through web site that he sell to you and others. create web site then sell again. if he can make money with adsense why he sell to u.???

 

From where is the traffic coming from?

This is a important factor to remember.

 

There is really know way to "check" it. But to limit the posiblity of being scammed, simply use Escrow.

 

if seller has multiple sites, then you can ask for the revenue by channel. but still its possible to fake that. i'm afraid there's no sure way to tell.

 

There's no way to know for sure give someone 5 min and photoshop and they can make a screen shot saying anything you want. Also most people don't just have adsense on just one site

 

just get the traffic info... forget the adsense earning...
