Hi All, I am new to SEO and have spent the past 2 hours today reading all about google and sandboxing etc, I have a Bingo review site which i have owned since Jan 06, i spent time on basic SEO and seemed for a time to rank well in google however i seem to have disappered off the face of the earth in googles eyes and dont know why, i done some on page opt like amending html errors etc but am still stuck. I can see it now using a USA proxy, but my broadband UK connection isnt loading anything at all. My proxy injects lots of extra code into the page and strips some out as its web based, so I cant really judge anything on the site for now, I'll check it again later.
your situation is very common in google serps, its only two things either your not optimizing your site anymore like before or google is updating its algorithm!
Could be just competition related. Check out your competition for your keywords. There are LOTS of online bingo sites & the number of incoming links to some of them & their alexa ranking could explain the problem. You need to consistently add original content to your site and grow your related backlinks.
