Hi there, I need someone to help me out. This is the situation: On my wordpress blog there was an option to upgrade the dashboard. It said to just click the link and it will be done automatically. I tried this, but after saying it was complete it would take me back to the same screen telling me to upgrade, and so I was stuck in a loop after upgrading it - I couldn't login or post or do anything. I created a thread on this forum asking for someone to try and help me out. I gave this person all my access details, and they've tried to sort it out, but now what has happened is that all of the posts from my blog have disappeared from about the last 2 years - and we can't get them back. This is what the person said they did (they had been liasing with my webhosts to try and resolve the initial problem, and they are unsure why I have lost all my posts since they made some database changes): Basically I'm really stuck and don't know how to sort it out, I've not tried looking into the database because I don't really know what I'm doing, which is why I tried to get someone on this forum to help out. If you need more information then I can provide you with this if you tell me what you need to know etc. Let me know how much you think you would charge to look into resolving this problem and I'll get back to you asap. I'm wondering if anyone else is able to help. I've had 1 or 2 people have a look but they couldn't seem to resolve the problem. My web hosts tried reverting back to a previous database from a few months ago when I had no problems and this still hasn't worked - so I'm not sure what has actually caused the posts to disappear Also I heard someone mention that its possible to login to wordpress and restore it to a previous point - is this possible? If anyone else is able to help then I'd be so grateful... Thanks
