I Have recently started to develop a website and knowing very little about website design and development, require a little help.

My website is primeraly to gain people to join my affiliate programme which i have been involved in for about 2 and half years.

But the webpage is set out to promote free stuff, offers. which could in turn develop many income streams with affiliate maketing. Hopefully.

Please leave me any suggestions or advice to help me move this on.

    My web address is

    Hi,

Your general feel on the site is good, although I may have chosen green as the background colour over blue as it is the colour more associated to money.

The 'copy' of your site could do with being larger in text size and being more emphasised to enthral the reader to get their free dvd. If your interested in an example 'copy' PM me.

    Regards Roger

well at least get your own hosting account you can get them as low as $20/year and get a domain name.

next make a decent page. I suggest Dreamweaver.
    >>free dreamweaver training videos: http://www.resource-website.com

Or you could probably hire someone to do it all for you from RentaCoder.com for like $40.

But as it looks now, I doubt it will sell or sign up much of anything

Freewebs? There's your first problem. Slow servers.....

I would seriously suggest buying a .com domain. Then you could advertise it over the place and watch it grow....

Thanks, was thinking of using a domain i already have which should fit nicely, hopefully www.affilliatesyndicate.co.uk as i am not sending much traffic there as yet anyway. I think it is better to send people to a landing page that collects info, which at the momant this domain doesn't.

I will increase the size of my lettering also, it is in a working progress. not totally sure where i am going with it yet. This is my first attempt at buliding a website so using a free hosting package seems great, for me any way.

    Hello,

Personally if you are promoting something i would choose a domain like "http://yourdomain.com" rather thank "http://freewebs.com" and a host without ads which they earn off of, also the yes the background feel which is very ummm purpley in my eyes. Good luck promoting your site.

    Thanks
