Help needed in keyword selection

    Hey all,

    I have started a website/blog on offbeat travel destinations in India. Now, while optimizing for keywords, I am really confused on which keywords I should focus on. As the places I am mentioning will have rare/uncommon names which will not be used while searching by users!

    This is my first time with SEO. Please help me out.

    Use words that relate to those things which you think people will use in order to find info on those things. So

    Let's say you are promoting "God places to visit ner the Taj Mahal" use thios ewords. Or let's say "Attractions near Uttar Pradesh" use those words. Use words like "Sights to see near thislongconvolutedwordnobody knows near somewhere well known"

    make sense?
