Help needed ( Importing php into html __error

Hi

I Have an affiliate script which when uploaded worked fine, however it was very plain and boring so copied the whole php file into a html file and altered the widths etc

My problem is when the site is in preview mode in the Affilite operating agreement there is a symbol right before the paragraph start.

Also another one to the right of the registration details.

I cannot find these symbols in my page editing program ( frontpage )

How do i remove them ?
