Hi folks. I created a template based on the guidelines provided by OSWD. http://www.internetfamous.net/downloads/index.php?fpp=10&did=0 * Designs must validate at http://validator.w3.org/. o Only XHTML validation types (ex. XHTML 1.0 Transitional) are accepted. * Designs must not use any other code besides XHTML/CSS. o No Javascript, Java, DHTML, etc... * Designs must be in Design_Name.zip format. * When unzipped, designs must fall into the following directory structure: o Design_Name/index.html o Design_Name/this.html o And so on... * The design zip file and the files it contains must not contain any other characters besides [a-z], [0-9] and the underscore [_]. * If links in the design are not functional, link them back to index.html. * No buttons (this includes w3 buttons). * Only submit designs for which you hold copyrights. * If you are using images: o The combined size of all images must be less than 50KB. o No text is allowed in images (so that it can be used without an image editor). o Images must be royalty free. But when I try to upload it, it also say that my DESIGN_NAME must contain index.html file. But in fact there's one existing. Can some one advice me what I did wrong? Anyone manage to upload your own design before?
With some help from pingfoo from OSWD, we finally got the 'real' reason why I'm not able to upload my design. Using the default 'Create Archive' features in Mac, when we create a zip file, there's a couple of .DSTORE file created, and somehow this format is not recognized by OSWD's checking function. Think the zipping feature in Mac behave abit differently when the zip file is ported over to a PC. The workaround solution is to use WINRAR or WINZIP in Windows XP, it work like a breeze, just zipped it. Alright. Thanks for 'helping' and not helping. The
