    Hi how are you?

I have started a new forum http://www.nameslot.com the main theme is Domain Names.

I would like help from some of the people here if they know how to go with this forums SEO.

    - Means should I use static URL's or URL's like this DigitalPoint.com

    - How should I generate a sitemap for this forum.

    - Should I submit them to all search engines or will they find me.

    - Any extra suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks for spending your precious time to help me out.

Write 7 Unique Articles related to domain names and submit them to as many articles sites and Ezines as you can.

    Repeat after every 1-2 months.

First thing that I noticed was that you have no real information about your site or what you do on the main page. Descriptions for individual forums is important, as is having some good text about your site near the top of the page. Putting a good keyword in h1 bold and italic is very helpful as well. Get nofollow tags on all the unimportant pages (like "login" "help" "mark forums read" "new thread" etc.). Remove the Nameslot.com from your title bar, or at least move it to the end if you must keep it there (bad for SEO). A sitemap is helpful and won't hurt anything, but you won't need one to get your pages indexed. Put h1 tags around your thread subject on each post.. I could go on and on.

In the copyright credit you should mention that anybody can publish your articles on their sites and ezines if they keep the link back to your site intact.

much better if you change your title this way: Buy & Sell Domain Names - Nameslot.com

keywords and description should be different.

perhaps you might try using this generator: http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/

let the SE bots find your site, just get a link through forum sigs. ;)

May i suggest to add a feature to suggest the tag line. There are many sites that suggest names by spinning combinations, but now the trend is catching up to add a tag line, which so far no site seems to suggest

I just wrote a tool that is pretty handy for submitting articles to sites using the article dashboard software. It is free and can be downloaded from http://www.after5webdesign.com/software.html.

It will only submit to the sites using the article dashboard software, so no ezinearticles, chiff, goarticles, etc, but the submission list is over 200 sites and growing.

That is a wonderful boost to your SEO. Because article directories have high PR, you can easily achieve quality back links for your forum site
