Hello, I am Brijesh from India. You can't not withdraw payment directly to ICICI account.

You need to widthdraw the check and you will get the simple citi bank INR cheque. Which you can deposit as like other cheques you do.

Its secured you need not to worry about it.

becarefull in mentioned the postal address...

Intimate them if you don't receive check in 45 days.

they will cancel the previous cheque if not widthdrawn. and resend you new after deducting 15$ fee.

    Hope this would help you.

If you get a cheque via paypal and then think of depositing in the bank for clearance, it takes a lot of time. The whole process is time consuming. Why dont you get in touch with a reputed DP member with whom you can exchange your paypal funds for INR.

If you deposit paypal's cheque in a bank and there is citi bank branch in your city then your cheque getting cleared in just 2 days as normal cheque. You have to take extra care while exchanging funds with other person ;) Xoom is also safe, secure and fast for Paypal to Inr IMO.

    Seoaddict,
I will clear you up. You cant withdraw your Paypal funds directly
to a bank in India. You can withdraw via a cheque which will be
issued from Mumbai by Citibank in INR and will be sent by oridnary
post. There is a possibility of loss of the cheque and delay. In case
the cheque does not reach you by 45 days you can request Paypal
to reverse the amount sent. They will and will charge $15.00 for it.

You can ofcourse open a 2checkout account with your paypal funds.
    I have done it myself.

I do not know about other methods but XOOM is not legal to bring in your own Paypal funds, it is a service meant for sending money to family and friends, and the other thing you just said is known as "money laundering" which again is illegal.

First off I am not a cop :), secondly fiddling with foreign currencies is no joke,
well if its 50 or 100 usd a month for you, you can do whatever you feel like or use a method that suits you best. However my suggestions here are for serious business developers. So if you are earning some quick money ignore it completely.

What I am saying now here, I have said this 2 and a half years back here:
http://forums.scriptlance.com/showthread.php?t=247 its stickied so that all
the fellow indians know what it is all about.

I agree. The best option is to request a cheque from PayPal. They will charge you $5 as processing fees. Typically it takes aroud 10 working days to receive a cheque in India. Deposit it in any Indian bank with a generous sacrifice of minimum $5 (bank processing charges). In around a month's time, your remaining money would be happily sitting in your bank account!
