    Hello guys,

A couple of months ago I decided to create a site for my father's company (his team are developing a variety of electronics devices and his previous site was awful).
I have chosen Wordpress as platform for my new baby (please take in mind I have very very little experience with HTML and CSS) and results is this:

    http://spacelab.bg/

The main purpose of the site is to sell the medical devices (you can see them below) and to inform the clients for the possibilities of making their own device - the company is developing products in really wide range of industries (medical, sports, military, electronics ..etc).

As you can see the first page is awful and I don't have any idea how to re-design it, making it enough informational for the clients.

I will really appreciate your feedback and recommendations!!

(Sorry for my english, I'am still learning it :) )

Hi, Came to see your website.

    Good:
    1. Clean website.
    2. The change in language is visible in menu and other places. (Though not in main content)

Bad (Sorry, but few, mostly design related, I am talking about):
    1. No footer (bottom part of the website) and no Copyright or similar statement. Maybe you can go without it, with a simple Copyright statement.
    2. Social link (Follow us on). the way you have positioned it is not going to work out good...
Do you know your template is a responsive one (adapts it self to different screen size)
At smaller screen size/ screen resolution it will come over your main contents.
    3. The same goes for Language option.

*For both 2, 3: Put Social Icons part in footer (unless you want it in header (top portion of your website, upto menu))
And Language option in the header part. In the menu line or in right top corner, where your website heading (website Name) is.

And last, but not the least good work :)
Also you can hire someone, to do it more professionally.

    Regards.

    Hi Mike,
Thank you for your feedback. Really appreciate it!
What do you thing about pictures positioning in the main page?
I am concerned because these are completely different products and it could confuse the client ( I know that they should be part of different sites, but at this moment it's impossible)

    Hi,
Maybe it needs more than few changes...
It's too clean maybe more than it should, to attract customers...
Maybe the image slider can be just below the menu bar.
Though a full width image slider will also look nice, but then you may have to change many thing(s)...

I think it's looking good! It seems like the front page content and pictures could be closer together though. Keep chipping away at it and it will look great.

Don't get somebody else to do it for you, this will be a great lesson for you that will help you immensely in the future. Moving the "follow us" buttons to a more symmetrical position will help with the overall look of the site.

    Hope this helped!

I saw the website. It looks clean and easy to understand. You could further design your website by having a brand. You could make a logo that could best suit your brand. A logo really helps to further your goals and image that you are going for. Here's a link to a list of great websites out there. http://www.awwwards.com/
Allow yourself to be influenced by those sites.
