I currently have a mmorpg.. The player is to receive 100 credits every ten minutes however this feature{timer} is running backwards and not issuing the credits like it is supposed to...Any help would be greatly appreciated..
Personally, I'd suggest avoiding cron as the syntax is painful for most folks, and getting your crontab absolutely perfect is hard. Use a PHP cron job service like Cronless.com and you only need to provide a valid URL on your site for the credits to auto-update every 10 min. You could also upgrade to Pro and get site monitoring to know when your MMORPG is down.
I belive this is the command or part of the script the game is using I can not locate what file is controling this function... <?if($turnupdate[0]){?> you will receive <font color="#0099cc"> <font color="#FF0000"> <strong> <?=$gamespeed?> </strong></font></font> <strong><font color="#FF0000">turns</font></strong> in: <?=countup($turnupdate[0]+600)?> <br />
