Hi all I am trying to choose the best ad network script for me. I would like to have the best for all (advertisers, publishers and site owner). as for now I have 3 scripts on the final : 'adquick' (phplemon), 'adpalace' (kaonsoftware) and 'ad manager pro' (phpwebscripts). price is not taken as a factor here so one aspect is clear. after digging around, I think adquick and adpalace are quite similar (except adpalace allow conversion tracking), and 'ad manager pro' seems a bit lack in features but has a great statistics display. I will appreciate any input and opinion you can give - pro and cons of the scripts and scripts I missed and worth checking (I tried openx but couldn't find my way with it..) Thanks Kobi
What were the key features you are were after? Are you sure you want advertisers to have the ability to select from web sites in your network? As an advertiser myself, I always go directly to the site owner instead of going through a third party ad network if my budget for the target site is worth it. -Bing
Hi Bing, Key features I would like to have: - geo targeting - conversion tracking - affiliates program - stable platform about the ability of advertisers to choose publisher's site - if you dont allow it, how does the advertiser target his campaign? Kobi
Kobi, In the case of our system (see signature), an advertiser can target their ad based on provided keywords which are used in search and/or content match, channels / zones, and/or on three additional custom filters you define. As for the four key features you mentioned, those are included. -Bing
From what I saw, there is one script which is 90% similar to Adwords/Adsense. 1: http://www.inoutscripts.com/demo/adserver/demo.php (this is what you're looking for) 2: http://www.inoutscripts.com/demo/inout_ppc_engine/demo.php (lite version)
this script do not have all the above, and only offer text and banner ads, so I guess its not for me, thanks anyway
kobitriki, The current release supports text, or a text + image (thumbnail) hybrid ad. We have full image support planned for later this year (no exact date available). What ad types are you looking to support? -Bing
