help need promoting football/soccer website

    you must join football fanatic's forums and in this way you will have a chance to meet these kind of people. And you can place your website's url in your signature which directs visitor s to your site.

    Why would you want traffic? It seems like you would want sales...it being an e-commerce site.

    Consider this statistic:

    When asked how people arrived at a website the very FIRST TIME they made an online purchase, the most chosen answer at 42% was "The company was already well-known...I just went to their website."

    And 18% said that a friend had referred them to the site.

    What does this say? It says people are more likely to buy from a company who combines offline and online efforts. So get offline and tell people about your site.

    Sponsor a few local sports events or charities. Help them promote these events with press releases to all the local news outlets. Make sure you put up banners or hand out flyers at these events.
