[Help] Need Ideas to Change My Menu!

Hey guys,

I've just been fixing up a few things on one of my sites and I am slightly stuck. First of all, you can see the site by clicking here. Ok, so I want to change the menu at the top with 'HOME' and 'ABOUT US' so that it's more readable and looks more modern and fits in with the rest of the theme. I'm pretty good at CSS and can probably do it but I'm just stuck on ideas.

Honestly, the 'open' no border simple underline style is 'modern' - I'd just make them that same dark blue as the RSS logo and selected underscore so it's legible.

i'd go with glowing mouseover for the menu, but that's just me..

 

Thanks guys for your help, I changed it a bit, it's more legible but I just think it looks a bit wierd, any other ideas?
