I used to use CNStats to get advanced traffic reports for my websites, but recently because of some problems I can't use it anymore. So I'm looking for an affordable alternative. I thought you guys might know and use a good program or script. Here are the features I'm looking for: Most visited web pages Referring domains and pages Referring search engines Top searched key phrases IP addresses of visitors Countries with the most visitors Browsers and operating systems The ability to customize the reports by day, week, and month So do you know a good hosted website traffic analysis solution that offers these advanced statistic features? Thanks in advance!
Also, what about google analytics? It's pretty advanced and I'm pretty sure contains all those features you mentioned.
google analytics for sure its the most advanced that ive seen you need an invite or something so find someone generous enough to give one for free (i had to pay someone $10!) (worth it tho)
Thank you all. I checked out Google Analytics website and reviews. It really seems like a good solution. Since I don't know someone generous enough to give me an invitation for free, I signed up to the waiting form on Google's website to receive the code from Google itself. So I guess I have to wait... But for now, I still need to find a good website traffic stats program. As I remember, they said on their website that they can only track the last 100 visitors. Since I have some high traffic websites, that's a problem. Am I correct about the limit?
I think www.addfreestats.com is also good one as well as its free .. try it .. it may be helpful for you
yes man i agree with you I am also using it and it has all the features required for trffic analysis free of cost
statcounter - all the way! - have got google analytics too but its not that great, stats are a day old and don;t like the way the data is displayed - plus you cannot view the IP addresses of the people who are visiting your site...
I'd second statcounter and Google Analytics. I use Analytics only now, but loved statcounter before the switch. Jenn
Thank you all! With all the people who recommend StatCounter, it must be really great! So I signed up for an account and added the code to my website to test it. So far I like it very much.
Yes, I have AWstats in my cpanel but it doesn't provide some of the advanced features that I need. For example it doesn't let me so a search query for a specific day - only for a month.
I use addfreestats and Google analytics right now. My choice - addfreestats , if you dont mind the small button on your site.
i liked other statscounters, but the only reason google is good is that you dont have to put any button on your site..
