Help! My website is not displaying in Google

My website: www.poorcreditgenie.com went live a week ago and I have submitted it to google 2X. In addition, I manually submitted it to over 40 search engines. So far Yahoo displays it - but google is not displaying it.

I have heard people say that I need to post my website's link on other websites? Since I don't know any webmasters - what is a good way to do this?

It takes time. Give it a couple of weeks. The more relevant links you can get pointing to your site the better so contact the owners of sites with similar content as yours and ask if they are interested in exchanging links. You do not even need to submit your site. As long as you have backlinks Google will find and index it.

    1. Your website isn't indexed in google because google probably hasn't been able to reach it through a chain of links. Meaning get some links towards your website so google goes to it.

    2. Hint. Submit your website to some directories. Those help with links back of course

what good is being indexed if you won't rank anywhere. I suggest that you start a good link building campaign. your site will be indexed by all the important search engines and within a few months, you may rank well. Good luck!

Your website could be in the sandbox. New domains might be in the sandbox for 6-8 months, then only Google will display it according to the search keyword. Be patient. :)

Hi guys - Google crawled all over me and now I am in. Hurdle #1 is over.

Now I have to follow your suggestions and get a decent page rankings. I am submitting to any directory that I can get my hands on.

BTW, how do your pages rank? ANd how long did it take you to achieve your ranking? What is considered a decent ranking PR4?

Trust me...I know. My Network Solutions hosted website bombed on me today. I've been spending the whole day working with them to get it up. Bad timing. I hope it's up soon.
