Yesterday, my site was in google for the keywords "kyocera concept (on the first page) and on the second page for "luxury computers". Two days ago, I bought bookmarking demon, and I think it is the reason that my site is no longer in google for either of those keywords. Do you guys think that is why I am out of google? Bookmarking demon is a program that allows to to quickly submit your site to many social networking sites. I am really frustrated because I spent a long time getting my site into google, and I don't know how I will get good traffic if my site can't get put it for the right keywords! My site is indexed, if you search illmcnasty, then it comes up.

    Please help!

It can happen especially in the early days of a website. Is your website new? Usually it disappear from the ranking and then comes back a couple of days later (sometimes with a better ranking!).

my domain was registered about 8 months ago, but I just opened up the site, I really hope it will come back in a few days, that would be awesome, because me and my partner were thinking about stopping (if we cant get traffic in google we wouldn't know what else to do).

Google frequently shows pages from newly indexed sites on page 1 and 2 even though they don't 'legitimately' rank well enough to be there. Some call this the Google "honeymoon".

There are lots of theories why they do this. Some think it is to get late breaking news to the top of the SERPs. Others think it is to gather certain initial values for ranking factors for the URL that can only be obtained if your site is seen in the SERPs... This might include things like click-thru-rate, time on site, bounce back rates, etc.

Regardless, after a few days (some times a few weeks) the newly indexed URLs suddenly disappear. But really your URLs simply drop way back in the SERPs where they should have been ranking naturally all along. The Google "honeymoon" is over.

Simply keep developing compelling, unique content and building links to your site from other sites, and you should work your way back up the SERPs.

Does your site still rank for your domain name? All is not lost in that case. It might have been a datacenter glitch or google detected a spam (too many backlinks with same anchor text).

Over-optimization on a same keyword/ key phrase could be the prime reason why this scenario is happening to you.

I am agree with both bentremblay and Canonical. Google shows newly indexed content on page 1 or 2 for few days then it disappears from ranking. Wait and continue your seo. Your site will come back with the same or better ranking.
