Please help, does anyone have a clue what they beleive has happened to my site?

I have a car forum that has a domain relevant to the keyword that I am trying to become 1st in. I usually rank about 6th for this keyword and rank okay for other keywords. However today I have noticed that my site has basically disappeared off Google's radar.

I typed the full domain name into google and it appears there but not for any relevant keywords.

Does anyone know what has probably happened here? and has this happened to anyone else?

    All help appreciated.

You could have been sandboxed by Google.

I think you should check seo penalty for your domain name as
they are going to remove the site which doesn't follow their rules.

    Hi

I checked this seo penalty and it came up that my site had a penalty of 10 (max) how could this possibly be?

If it's relatively new, it could just be doing the Google dance. It takes several months sometimes for a site to settle into a somewhat predictable rank.

If the change in the SERPs results happened today, then it is to early to worry about. The situation may resolve itself in the next few hours...

Fingers crossed it may even end up placing higher than before.

use the search term site:yourURL in google...

    Make it "http"
