*Help - MY site disappeared from google search!?????

Hey guys,

My hi5/myspace site was RIGHT at the top of the 2nd page of google for the top keyword "hi5 layouts"

I checked it yesterday and then today, and when I search for that same key word, my site CANNOT be found? I dont understand, its not it dropped a few spots, its not even on the 8th page???

Can anyone explain how this could happen??

Google recently updated their index. Check your Google SERP position with http://www.googlerankings.com/ . If you cannot find your site, then check whether your site is banned or not.

 

I dont have a google API key?

But what I DONT understand is how my site could go from the first page on google search, to the 9th page in ONE day?

 

Hey this is not the first time something like that is happening. It happens to us too. Usually, if your site has been in the first page for a long time, then it will appear back in a short time. But if your site appeared in the first page only for a short time, then Google was testing your site. They do it often.

 

it can happen, i was ranking in at 8th positon then it dropped to 800+ position in 1 day. Then slowly back in positions.

 

Tell me the following:

Site URL
Keyword
Age
Daily Traffic

Ill let ya know why and when

It happened to me last month. I ranked #2 on a word and pfff totally disappeared for few week. The site came back, well ranked, last monday. You should no worry too much about it.
